Misery
So today at work we were discussing Owen Wilson's suicide attempt, and I was going through all the reasons and pressures that would have driven him to that state of mind. No one ever thinks it makes sense. I go through my head and I think of all the suicides I can remember. Friends, family, celebrities, just random people that stuck out, and it always gets to me when people are like I just don't understand it wasn't in there character. They were so happy they had everything... WTF? Obviously they didn't. In Owen Wilson's case I can see a tremendous pressure on him, a need to be fresh and original, to try and break out of being the same character he portrays in films over and over again. Come on Owen sell your soul, here's a couple of million play the fool one more time.
On a lighter note, Jackass is on. I love those fucking guys!
