I love Hotels...
As I was down at the local laundromat, trying not to die, it hit me that I wanted to get away. When I was thinking about where the new adventure should take me, I started getting happy thinking about the hotels. I loves hotels, I love king size beds that other people make. Mini-bar treats, the newest releases and porn on tv, and let's not forget Room service! I love being able to call up and get booze and food at a moments notice. I think I should live in a hotel someday.
Sheep On Drugs is touring, and I read their blog today which they denounced there label here in America, Invisible records, claiming they haven't been paid for records sold. Which adds them to the long list of other bands who have been fucked over by the label. It doesn't make sense how you can run a business and fuck over the people who make you money. Sheep on Drugs is easily one of the biggest and most popular bands on the label, so I would think as a label owner you would want to kiss their ass, so they will continue making records and money for you. Martin Atkins, goes around the country lecturing on how to be successful in the music business when the man himself is anything but. At one time he was a great musician, he toured and recorded with Public Image Limited, Killing Joke, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails and countless other projects, but he is always booted from these groups in some horrible manner that the other members of the group cannot speak his name without being angry. He runs a label which sells music artists on the idea that we're all in the together and if we cooperate and help each other we can all accomplish what we want to, but that's never how it is. It's sad.
Other than that Casper is on. I like the movie.
