Yahoo Serious
So I came up with this idea last night while watching Young Einstein. I've decided that the greatness of an actor in not based on the types of roles that they perform or the number of performances they make but in actuality how few pictures they make. For a long time I appreciated the work of Daniel Day-Lewis and I thought it was amazing how few roles he ever played in. Every few years or so he would come out of hiding make a movie and end up at the Oscars. But I found one to trump him. Yahoo Serious. On his first feature film role that of Young Einstein, which he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in, brought him great commercial success. The film made excess of a 100 million dollars and for a nobody from Australia making their first film, that is the true mark of greatness. To date Yahoo Serious has played in three films. Yet everyone knows his name, can describe what he looks like, and name his films. So when people get say that Christopher Lee is a great actor because he's made over 200 films say no, he's not, he had to work at it. He expanded himself over those 200 films, honed his craft, greatness is something that happens all at once.
Well I ended up bagging on wrestling, so here I am writing once again to you guys. So I promised, here's my New Years Resolutions for 2008.
1. Get my ass back in the gym. It's time I like working out, but getting in the door seems to be my only problem
2. Hang out with everyone of my top friends this year.
3. Get a new job.

Short list this year, I'm really surprised with myself, but every year is about fine tuning.
