Whatta ya know whatta ya say howdya say it?
Well kids it's been another interesting week. First off Tanky and I went to see Skinny Puppy on Friday night, and it was a great show with the exception of Otto Von Shirach as the opener. It was the worst we actually bought ear plugs to drown him out. If you ever see his name on a marquee or handbill, run! But Skinny Puppy rocked, they played Dig It!
Work sucks but I don't think that goes deep enough. Things are generally bad all around. We're in a hiring freeze and greatly understaffed so overtime is becoming a weekly deal. Me I like to work my forty and that's it. But what can you do, with the job market the way it is, I'm lucky to have a job, hopefully there will be movement sometime soon. *crosses fingers*
So Alex and I had one of those serious conversations that I avoid like the plague the other night, and I can seriously say I think it made things stronger, but it was very taxing on both of us, at the end we're like are we okay?
I finally read the last six issues of Dogwitch. I hate it when any time of serial I like ends. I lost Gilmore Girls, Sopranos, and Dogwitch, maybe it's because I can find so little that really holds my interest.
Why is it all so stressful?
I found this great website for club clothing and what not. www.kinkyangel.co.uk but they rape you on the shipping. They wanted like 65 dollars for shipping on a pair of sneakers, fortunately I found the same ones on a site with only 10 dollars shipping. Just when you think you've found something good, they jam it in an break it off.
So it looks as if Tanky Swabby and I will be headed back to New Haven this summer for Black Sun III, so if anyone is around between August 10-12 come by and hang out!
