Badgers? We don't need no stinking Badgers!
Hello once again one and all man am I sick but lemme tell you I forgot what I was going to say and it was really good, but whatever so here we go all random and slapdash as I can. Onward through the fog! Okay so last saturday I went to see my lovely Alex in New Mexico. There should be pictures to go along with this enetry but like I said I've been sick and I feel like shit and I really want to get through this because the further away from this I get the less I will remember. So New Mexico. It started on a Saturday at Philadelphia international I love airports maybe I'm weird I dunno I probably am. But I like the idea that they've crammed all the essentials into one place and then they don't let you leave it's like interned consumerism. Anyway first things first due to construction and expansion the economy parking at the airport as been cut back and on the day I was set to leave the lot was full! FULL! So no seven dollar a day parking for little Leo, now I'm bumoped up to the seventeen dollar a day garage. But oh well I'm going to see my Alex so I push on. I quickly get through airport security as I don't have any bombs, but I do help an elderly person who almost killed himself trying to take off his shoes, and then I go to the newstand and buy my FHM magazine for the flight, this one features 50 ways to get your woman turned on. I buy Alex's roomate Joe a Flyers shot glass, and get some Burger King and sit at my gate for two hours. I talk to Alex who is really tired and sleeping do I let her go and I continue to sit. I see Roxy who is a club friend of Sage's friend Kelly is getting on the same plane and as we are club friends thrice removed I don't see a reason to talk to her, but it was just funny that I knew someone else on the plane. Anyway! The flight to Atlanta sucked! I was stuck in the window seat next to a couple of fat/elderly/mexicans! So I read my Larry Flynt book and attempted to make the most of it. Now Atlanta Airport is HUGE! Fuck Philly, Fuck Orlando, huge! 20 Terminals, with about 30 gates apiece! HUGE! But they had Popeye's so I was cool! Plus I was able to get Mr. Pibb in a bottle which I had never seen before. So I milled about the airport for several hours as I had a layover, and then continued on to Albuquerque. The flight to Albuquerque was not nearly as bad. I was in the escape row, which means I had more leg room, plus it was an aisle seat! Anyway so we flew I read and the time slowly crept on. Then I was there! and only fifteen minutes late. I hurried off the plane as I was here and I had to pee! Which I did there was a bathroom right at our gate. Thank BOB! Then I hurried to find my lady love my Alex. I bebopped through security and found her sitting quietly on the left! I ran up and hugged her and kissed her and it was all so mushy and I was overcome with a great feeling of joy and to my knowledge this doesn't happen too much so I was really surprised. Then we went to baggage claim and waited and kissed and waited and hugged and waited and went into the bathroom for some alone time, and then finally my bag showed up! We grabbed the bag and belined it out to meet the boys, who would be buy shortly to pick us up! And we waited and kissed and cuddled, and then they showed up. Faust was driving and Joe was riding shotgun, Now Joe has a bold hairstyle, much like Christopher Loyd in Back to the Future or John Lithgow in the Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai, so yes it was something to behold. We then went to Sonic!!! Now Albuquerque is Massive out on the east we're use to things going up and getting taller out there everything stays small and just keeps going outward. It's like a giant strip mall! So at Sonic I find out that there's a small "LARGE" groupd of people waiting to to meet me. I feel like Jane Goodall going to meet the Gorillas, so we go to Sonic, I get chicken balls and a chilli wrap and tater tots with a Dr. Pepper. Now I'm from a Coke dominated world but in New Mexico Dr. Pepper seems to be the heralded drink of choice, but I go with it. Then I go for my first joke. "Baby when do we get to fuck"? The shock value is good but the joke goes over like a lead balloon. But I'm committed and I bring up that there's some bushes and we got like twenty minutes. Still no laughs. Then we're off to the Badger House. Not as cool as the Bathaus but then again what is? and then It begins!!! The meeting of people. First Sandra who shakes my hand and then Hillary with a hug and then Heath and Varuka and some other guy who I never saw again and then we eat and the conversation is the usual so how was your flight? Oh how I wished I could be Goodall and win them over with a sugar cube and lighter, then we watched the Forsaken the vampire movie with the Gay guy on Dawson's and Jonathan Schaech from the DOOM GENERATION! And we ate, and then Alex excused us and we went to here modified bedroom and I met her cat. The weather had it's way with me as I was congested the whole trip. Alex was affraid I was allergic to the five cats but no. So we had sex which was awesome and then slept. I was all screwed up and I never got off Jersey time the whole time I was there. So after a rough night of sleep new sounds and weather to keep me enetertained, plus the cat scared the hell out of me more than a few times. So the next morning we awoke, and watched "the Order" which was good. I am the Sin Eater, I mean couldn't they come up with a better name? Anyway so then I went up to the corner store to have my own little New Mexico moment where I saw the local fair Chester's frys and Big Hunks and make your own burritos. So I saw what Albuquerque was like in the day. There's a mountain, and wasteland and more stores than I've ever seen. Then I met her mom, and her sister and her nieces and nephews, and they took me to breakfast. Now breakfast in NM is way different. Everywhere makes Huevos Rancheros and I couldn't get Eggs Benny to save my life. But they did have good biscuits and gravy and they burned my bacon just the way I like it. We talked and they told me stories of Alex as a child. It was alot of fun. Then we went back to the badger house and had some quiet time, and more sex! YAY! And we watched Idle Hands and Loser which was cool and then we watched some Heroes and other stuff, and I'm not sure if that's when I met Lynn and Tom or the next day... it was the next day! So nevermind then we waited for everyone to come home and then we went out for all you can eat sushi! Poor sushi place they were not ready for Leo I.F.O.C.E. professional eater! And for a landlocked state the sushi wasn't that bad, only the salmon tasted fishy. Then we went to Hastings cause I wanted to show Alex the wonder of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Hastings is cool! It's a store for me. CD's DVD's Video Games and books! Awesome! And it had a good Electronica section! So I got Alex TCM and a VAC cd for myself. Then we went home and watched the TCM till I passed out! And then we finished it the next day. Then we went to Weinerschnitzel! The oldest Hotdog chain in the US good dogs too! I got chilli dogs with kraut and everone thought I was nuts! Then we went home and had some more alone time
and we watched Heroes and she showed me the wonder of tivo. Then I met Chris with a K and Lynn and Tom. And I gave birth to the greatest Super Hero ever! Abracadabra Boy who can pull a rabbit out of any hat! So we all talked and then they left and the gang came home and we watched some movie about witches that was on ABC Family. And went to Ihop with the Badgers, where they told me Alex and Badger stories it was pretty cool. Then we came back and watched Out Cold! Carpe the Diem! Seize the Carps! And slept some more The next day Faust toured us around Albuquerque and I saw the big arrow and Downtown which looked cool, I wouldn't mind living there. And we had Lunch at Lotta Burger, I had a Lotta Burger, and Alex had Itsa Burger! They put green chilli on it which beat the hell out of my colon, anf then we went shopping anf I got Cemetery Man which Alex like and Mission Hill which Alex tolerated, and God Speed You Black Emperor. It was cool and then the gang came home and we went food shopping and to Arbys and then later Joe cooked us a nice dinner of steak and crabs! Then Alex and I retired and had goodbye sex. Then later I was woken up by the chillis and instead of going back to bed I woke Alex up so we could spend my last few hours together. We watched Out Cold again... SEIZE THE CARPS MAN! then I left. I was so beat and then I was so sick! I had a great time and I Can't wait till Alex is here for X-mas. Up next is four days with the boys from Razed in Black.
