Some have to blog some have kill
Have you ever attempted to harden yourself? Have you ever tried to push all the feeling deep down so it is forgotten and tried to make your heart into a stone? I use to be like that. But every once in a while something so simple and innocent would present itself and cut me down so deep that I would ball... I was thinking about that lastnight as I watched a montage of all six Star Wars movies. Apparently Cinemax is going to be running all six parts back to back on November 11th. I got really excited to say the least and very emotinal. Alex then asked me wait don't you have all six movies? To which I said yeah, but you see if I were to do it I wouldn't watch them all. I would watch one or two and then come back to them later in the day or days later. When Cinemax does it, even if I leave the saga it keeps going. And that is something that has never been done before. Personally I would want to see the all in IMAX but that hasn't happened yet, so this so far is the best thing ever. I grew up on Star Wars, and I mean literally. I was born Dec 4th 1976, and Star Wars was released in May of 77. 5 months later. It was the first movie I ever saw in the theater. It was the first movie I saw when we got cable. It was the first video I rented, well second actually I rented the Empire Strikes Back too and watched that first so, but it was there! My whole life had this saga, originally a trilogy, because it took almost 16 years to go from Jedi to the Phantom Menace but hey I'm not complaining, but when it was all over I felt a little sad because I knew there would never be another one coming. Weird huh? Do you ever wonder where stuff like this comes from?
