omg what a heart renching poem, not sure it it's easier to lose a pet that way or to make the decision for them when nature isn't ready for them. I'm going home now to hold and cuddle my 3 babies, Once you lose a pet that your close to you never ever take the next ones for grantite, I lay awake some nights and think of how hear broken i will be to lose one of them, i get choked up when i think of that day often. all we can do is love them and treat them a humane as possible for the short time of joy they give us while with us. My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss.

Yeah, I guess my big mistake was thinking it would be easy finding people to get to know who'd treat you with respect and openmindedness right away. I've moved not so long ago to a new city, where I know pretty much no one at all. Thats why it feels really hard at times. They're not friends you see - just classmates, but thats the point. In trying to make new friends its apparently best to keep my mouth shut about pretty much everything I do and like. ugh. So bottom line being I shouldn't waste my time trying to befriend people like that anyway. You're absolutely right!
