if you are really into old school tattoos (i know i am!) you should really check out this book:

i have almost read it cover to cover and it's chalk full of awesome stuff. info and history about the meaning of traditional tattoos (like what the anchor, swallow birds and spiderweb tattoos mean). plus mini bios about some of the original tattoo artists like sailor jerry, bert grimm and doc forbes.
it's called Vintage Tattoos: The Book of Old-School Skin Art by Carol Clerk

i have been looking at an apartment everyday so far. i think i might have found the place the only big con is that it is in a basement, but it's roomy enough and $150 cheaper then the other places i have seen. so i think i might just take it and see how it goes.
