BWUHAHAHAHA! I was naughty and stole the time life picture I've been looking for off the internet. Now before people shake their fingers at me for being naughty, I did try to find a copy in the size that I need but the world isn't so kind. I absolutely adore this photo! To all of you who don't know go on and check out "kissing the war good bye". Some day I hope to find a way to fit this into some tattoo piece.
Seeing as how to me it reminds me of both my grandparents. Both my grandfathers were in the Navy (one actually managed to survive the attack at pearl harbor) and both of them managed to have a love affair with their wives that spanned over half a century. In the world we live in today...how cool is that!?!?! If I could have one wish for myself it would be to have that.
My mother phoned today from the mainland telling me she bought me a vintage hat for my wedding. It's black with a veil...some how that doesn't seem fitting for the occasion. I told the husband about it and he asked "why black?"
I told him it was to mourn the loss of my freedom lol
A smart ass thing to say but I couldn't pass it up!
I should get back to work on all the stuff I got going. As soon as I finish with the wedding stuff I can get back to working on my clothes and ink designs. I'm starting to get stoked about my leg piece and my chest piece! Also I had a friend that was into hello kitty...I'm half tempted to pick up some of the hello kitty fabric they have here and making a skirt or a dress out of it. I think running a busness is gonna be hard for me since I love making stuff for my friends.
