M'kay so I'm free for the next couple of days as the husband was swept away on his big gray boat to the middle of no where in the big blue pacific. I wonder if I can sleep through and past 6am?
Yesterday I spent all day playing with water colors...as I haven't done that since high school it was...INTERESTING. I finally managed something that would be ok for the invitation but then decided to rip my favorite photo off the computer and use that instead. Some say that's lazy I say....well yeah it is!
I think I'm going to go with an old photo used in Time magazine. It's titled "kissing the war good bye". You know the old song and dance about the sailor grabbing the first girl he sees and kisses her in time square. For some reason I just absolutely love the photo. Seeing as how my wedding gown is a purple vintage recreation and my husband is wearing his Navy dress blues it kind of fits.
Next to projects to work on...
1.) Designing my room
2.) Deciding which tattoo I want to get
in the next couple of weeks.
4.) Designing some prototypes for the
clothing I want to eventually sell.
Last night on a quest to find the Photo I wanted I went through all these old vintage prints and I realized I had forgotten just how much the right painting or photograph can just make you feel. It really doesn't matter about aesthetics it just makes you feel something. Kind of got me excited about being an artist all over again. Though over the past few years my portfolio got shot to shit due to people stealing and what not.
Le sigh! I'm rambling once more so I think it's time to be off!

i love that photo you chose - i know exactly which you're talking about
there's some good vintage scenes in Angel Heart with Mickey Rourke that take you back to that time from what i remember...
i realised the other day that when you were sending me a link for your photos, it was the "noneasofyet.com.org" wasn't it - I'm retardedly slow you
