Holly moses batman! Over this weekend my husband actually helped me clean and finish moving in and....I CAN SEE MY FLOOR AND COUCHES!!!!!! Both of these things feel like miracles! Now I can actually manage to focus working on my store and my wedding! YAY!!!!
On a similar note I was talking with my room mate today about missing the ability to paint the walls with what ever I wanted to (military housing only allows flat white walls and fifty year old linoleum). It reminded me of when I was little and in love with the color pink. My mother and grandmother got together and my mother made the walls the exact shade I wanted and my grandmother tore apart her own dresses and hunted through thrift stores to make me a quilt of the same color. Thinking of this went further and made me remember when my big old family got together and made me a doll house. They all did their own part...made me realize what kind of creative people I came from and how much they support me in all my endevors.
On another note I have to say this....My name is Jenna and I am an ebay junkie. I swear to god I am getting as bad as my dad! He get's packages daily from all the auctions he's winning.
I should really focus on the wedding plans...it's a hop skip and a jump away. What's worse about that is I use all these neat vintage places as research lol.
I wish I had my scanner up and running...I need some of my artist friends from far off places to give me their thoughts on my tattoo ideas...well that and show all my awesome and oh so curious friends some product ideas I have for the store....blah! I have to wait one more day to start as today we have a date with the bank. Everyone pray for me...our fate rests on the judgment call of one of the many cranky bank women employed at Navy federal credit union!
