So, no Kennywood. Poop on that! However I've been told I get to check out white castle and six flags when we go to Indiana! YEAH! It seems as though everything going on now is a building towards the road trip next month. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about it....I just wouldn't mind a few new adventures to happen prior to it.
My serger is on it's way....YEAH! I will now be completely capable of sewing stretchy like things! I think getting the t-shirt deconstructions books is what keeps me excited about getting new machine. I'm having so many ideas inspired by this that perhaps in time I could come up with my own book of ideas for people. To tell you the truth this would have come in soooooo handy when I was a poor high school club kid.
Speaking of high school kids, the daughter of the man we are staying with is....an akward teen. She's kind of heavy and totally introverted. There's a part of me and my little hapai mama that really wants to reach out to her and help her. We've convinced her father to let us give her a little make over (she wears her mom's hand me downs) and spend time with her. I really hope that the girl and her mother go for this. I think this could totally give her the confidence she needs to start her senior year. I really wish some one would have been able to help me during my akward teen stage. I would just really like to be able to reach out and help her.
With that happening we've managed to set up a hair appointment for both of us. God, my hair is getting hippie long and it's making me crazy. No no no I have officially decided that I'm a short haired tom-boy type of dame. To celebrate this it will be faux hawks all around! I don't give a shit if people don't think it's punk! I look stupid when I'm bald. So I get the best of both worlds!
My tattoo books have also been sent in the mail. I can't wait until they get here! One of them has the inspiration for the back piece I want. I'm hoping to get my back piece finished before I leave the mainland. Honestly I'd like to cover up the bad work on my shoulders and have a piece that I could really be proud of. After I get that stuff and junk in comes research time for body piercings. I'm having one hell of a time deciding how I want to alter my current set up. For those of you who don't know...I have 0g stretched ears, industrials in both ears, a nostril bone on my right, a septum ring, a tongue ring, two labrets, and my nipples done. I'm sure my folks could live with out me doing this....but oh well! I'm sure this time they will tell me once again that they thought this would be the last time. HAHAHAHA! As if doing this for the last eight years wasn't a clue that my body mod phaze may never come to an end.
So yeah other than that I've been nosing through the torrid site and trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. I know I should have that question answered but bloody hell! It's just not easy chosing one thing to be passionate about!
