I'm stuck trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the rest of my chest piece, not that I have the money for it at the moment. But planning is almost as fun as getting it done. Note I said almost. I found the most kick ass fabric the other day. It's purple with hello kitty in a kimono on it. I love hello kitty, so to me that's the best fabric in the world. I'm going to get it and sew a dress out of it.

I was in the USMC for seven years, and Hawaii was by far the most beautiful place i have ever ever been. (spent 5 tropical years on Oahu). there's 3 other guys and casper's wife whom all want to apprentice there but as of now, i'd be the guy - i'm stoked...

i thought since Casper and i kinda hit it off cuz we do alot of the same things with graphic design etc, that he was gonna put a bit of a word in for me - cuz he wanted me to wait to go in until he got back from NY but 12K is fuckin steep for my ass, i'm not giving up though

i took over a print of the twwly image i did as a little gift for casper after i spoke with damien and it looks badass when its blown up (he looked impressed ) i'm putting my illustration portfolio together and i'm gonna bring it over but i'm gonna do some stuff first to blow minds

i'd have to sell my car to afford that much which is out of the question - i mean, i don't even like my car (a pt cruiser chick ride) but it's bought and paid for so i'm not complaining

i'm just gonna start hangin out over there and work on my sleeve design i guess

otherwise, i'd go for the breasts but that'd be my down payment for a spot in the shop so i'll have to stuff a bra instead

i'm hoping you really go forward with this idea you are totally right about the confidence thing too...

on the silk screening note, it's really basic - i mean you can buy a little set that comes with an instruction book and its just a matter of sitting down, cutting out your design and doing it - i remember we made screens and shit in hs art class and how easy it was

I go bananas when I find something cute that fits, so yea, I would buy one of everything that is my size. I know you have great taste. And I can't wait to see the stuff that you design yourself.

I know what you mean about Hawaii being a completely different culture and worlds apart from the rest of the US. It really sucks when you actually try to become intergrated with the rest of the world and you're completely different because you like sashimi and you're middle name is Kalikolehua and you say slippers instead of flip-flops and you refuse to say finished instead of pau and every now and then that pidgin slips out when you're talking to your friends. It's really hard to get over it even when you want to so bad. But Hawaii is what it is and now I have come to appreciate it for that reason. I think I'm officially separate from the whole island vibe, and don't think I'd fit in at all if I ever moved back there (although I never really did in the first place), but it's different just like every other place and that's fab!
