So I was watching the Television recently and some flash in the pan from way back shows up. I don't remember who, which probably speaks volumes about there fame. Anyways, the first thought that occurred to me was "He's still alive? I figured he was dead." And I got to thinking. There are so many celebrities, and even more has-been celebrities, that I figure it's about time to institute a death penalty for celebrities past their 15 minutes. This will make those who are celebrities now, value their status even more, while those thinking of doing something stupid to get their fifteen minutes will probably think twice about it. Honestly, you've all seen them. People who were famous for a few minutes back in a given year making some desperate attempt to get back into the limelight that obviously had better things to do than stay focused on them. So, when your fifteen minutes are up, you get put down. It will save your family the drudgery of your lengthy "remember when" sessions, and the embarrassment of your comeback attempts. Current celebrities, you'll be working harder to make sure the public continues to want to see you, because when we consider you old hat, well, it'll be the end of the line.
