Well today is Roy Orbison's birthday and I know I can't count the dead technically but he needs to be mentioned cuz he is partly the inspiration to two of my favorite musical icons.

... Orbison was the man and had a unique sound all his own and like many will say was ahead of his time

As Bob Dylan would say "Orbison transcended all the genres. With Roy, you didn't know if you were listening to mariachi or opera. He kept you on your toes. [He sang] his compositions in three or four octaves that made you want to drive your car over a cliff. He sang like a professional criminal. His voice could jar a corpse, always leave you muttering to yourself something like, 'Man, I don't believe it'. His songs had songs within songs. Orbison was deadly serious-no pollywog and no fledgling juvenile. There wasn't anything else on the radio like him"

Speaking of ghost stories I have to put some together for you guys...
Sorry put this one up as fast as I could, this can be easily debunked but the lady insist its genuine. It could be an act...

This awesome picture was taken by Heather in Pennsylvania of her son. She relates "I took this photo of my son with my Samsung Verizon camera phone. He was sitting with his back to the couch. I'm still trying to figure out what the apparition is behind him. I don't believe that is of him (movement). One theory was that it may have been a reflection of me but I don't know how that could have happened, I was taking the picture on the opposite side of the phone. A ghost maybe? I would love to know your take on it, it's got me wondering?!"
EDIT: Why is this picture even in the archives unless she really insists its a ghost her goddamn shoulder can be seen behind the boy...
