This summer is blissfull. There are little stresses, as there always are, but mostly, it's perfect. Perhaps it's 'La vie en rose'. I want to paint, and sing, and dance, and take pictures. It's a feeling I haven't had for a long while, and I love it!

My sister had her tenth birthday yesterday. My grandmother bought her a cake with a photo of her face on it. There's something deliciously transitionary about eating your own face. I think I'll start doing it every year - consume my former self. Figuratively, of course.
I'm reading 'The Handmaid's Tale'. Heartbreaking, but beautiful. I highly recommend it!
And, to end, some recent pictures of me being lame in the sun. It seems that contentment also means 'clutter' in my house. Hah. Excuse the mess.
