What started as just another TV show that very nearly never made it to air flourished into a media phenomenon that spanned the globe and five different decades, spawning hundreds of television episodes, a string of movies, and creating the world's biggest fan club.

The Federation is on the brink of extinction. This time, the enemy is not the Borg, or the Dominion, or even mysterious and gigantic deep-space probes. This time, the enemy is within. The production crew that inherited the Star Trek franchise from Gene Roddenberry are threatening its very existence. Through willful disregard of Gene's vision and corruption of the fictional universe all of us grew to know and love, this small group of people is succeeding in unraveling the very nature of Star Trek. Rick Berman and his band of thugs at Paramount have ruined the good name of Star Trek, And We as Trekkies, can no longer stand for this. Starfleet is hereby ordering all personnel to do their part to make sure that the Federation does not go quietly into the night.
