well my brother is in the hospital for having thrombosis in his legs and now a blood clot has passed from his legs up to his heart
Anyways, My brothers condition got worse Sept. 4th and around 8:00 they called us and told us that we should come back into the hospital because they were getting him ready to be life flight to Pittsburgh's UPMC hospital its the best hospital in the area. Its sad that the hospitals in Altoona, Pa. are for shit. But at least they had the good sense and fly him to pittsburgh before it was to late. I talked to the doctor and he had told me that there was a blood clot in his main artery that goes to the heart and lungs and it was restricting the flow of blood. He was in alot of pain. and could barely talk above a whisper. His Heart rate was very high. I am sure you know that when your sleeping or resting the heart rate is around 72 beats a minute well my brothers heart rate was at around 110 - 118 beats a minute that is very high and dangerous. They have him on oxygen cause of having trouble breathing. there is a blood clot in his lung so that makes it all the more dangerous for him. So at least he is the best care possible now.
My father and his wife showed up and it was the first time we had talked in close to 2 years. That was uncomfortable. I was telling my family earlier today that his best possible choice was for them to send him to pittsburgh. I told the doctor that too. He didnt think it was necessary at the time. But 3 hours later he did.
