This summer seems to be coming along pretty good; already watched a few Star Trek movies, went to a few shows, played a game of (Star Wars) Risk. OK so if you're a total geek it's a great summer, but I'll nerd out as hard as i can while I have the time to.

The movies in the past few weeks have been interesting as well. Last Friday I was able to catch The Glamorous Life of Sachiko Hanai. It's really nothing but a Japanese skin flick but all of the shit that goes on and the premise of a hooker gaining pure genius from getting shot in the head then obtaining a a clone of George Dubbya's finger was just too bizarre to pass up. I love midnight madness at the Esquire.

Yesterday I went to my cousin's high school graduation. Even though I only graduated two years ago seeing all of those kids not knowing how screwed most of them are made me laugh a little inside. Some of them will be fine doing what they're expected to do by going to good colleges and becoming ideal Americans and some of them will end up being disaffected Metro students like me, but it is certain that most of them will be amazing disappointments to their parents. On the ride to the after party the sinicism got turned to myself after I realized how much life can slow down when you have to make up more motivation other than getting other people to just shut up and leave you alone about graduating. I may be stuck but I'm doing fine compared to how most of the people I graduated are doing. Hell, I'm not hooked on anything, married, in jail or dead so I suppose as long as I eventually graduate from college I'll settle with life for right now.

Haha and Jerry Falwell is dead. I enjoyed that news quite a bit.
