What started as and kept running as a crappy finals day ended up turning into a great day because of an awesome coincidence on Dark_Cabal's behalf. I would have never guessed that I would have ended up at the Mastodon show tonight. It's always cool seeing bands at bigger venues, although Brent (lead guitar) was clearly on an assortment of drugs making him fuck up some of the more technical parts of the newer songs. Other than that it was a nearly perfect show. Another strange thing about the show was that Troy (bass) was playing the most bad ass looking P-bass I've ever seen.
