Well cool . . . I've been a lot more active in at least attempting to go out instead of the maddening grind of working. I've been downtown 2 of the last 3 weeks, ending up at Independent Bar, which is probably the best damn place to hang downtown . . . I take that back, off the beaten path of Orange Ave, there is a place called the Peacock Lounge I believe you would enjoy immensely. Today was a day off for me. Off Friday too . . . then I close the restaurant Saturday to Tuesday, with an early out Wednesday, leading to a NINE day stretch of vacation-time. I am not doing jack-squat in that period mind you. I'm nearly finished reading a biography on Siouxsie & the Banshees and I've been listening to them (again) religiously. That girl I dedicated the Smiths to . . . I'm over her already. It was a 9 1/2 weeks kind of relationship. She was a bit overbearing in hindsight . . . how's your situation? Next time you're in my neck of the woods, let me know. That way, I can ensure I'm not working and we could actually talk. Keep in touch you.
