So, I'm working here now, which is cool enough. It's a fun place, 'tho new jobs are always stressful.

While even still even in training for the job my car broke down. I guess I needed another distraction. Car dealers are always such fun. Saturn here was a little screwy, but I found a lovely deal from Honda - yes, that's right, I've converted. Saturn devotees are welcome to leave their comments below. I'll have photos on Mon. or Tues.

Hassles with the family over the house have already kicked into full swing. Logically, I know they're fine with everything, but just the thought of letting my grandparents down is really depressing. Hopefully soon, everything will be decided & all will be well.

I haven't had a chance to meet the SGFL crew yet. Or even spend much time here. Grrrr. All soon enough. Hmmmm....new car, new people...Yep, a road trip might be in order.

My bday's this week. Woo hoo. My true friends will ignore it for me.

There was a car chase on CNN in the bar the other day - a "california snow day" & I missed it. It made me home sick. 'Course the thought of 3 earthquakes & a tsumani warning (btw - wtf!!??)...I think I'm ok where I am. Just ask me again after hurricane season.

Natural disasters aside, I love ya & miss ya.
