So I've been out of commission for about the last 2 weeks thanks to an inner ear infection.
I've been prone to these ever since I got smacked on the ear while rough housing on the pool as a kid and ruptured my ear drum. To this day I'm psychologically scarred by the pain. The doctors weren't kidding when they said the pain rivals childbirth. Now I may never have a baby, but if what the Dr. said was true, you have my sympathy ladies. Thankfully I've only had to endure this kind of shit about 3 times in my life, but this time it's really kicking my ass! Thankfully my mom came through by sending me some antibiotics and ear drops, and having my beautiful wife be there and take care of me makes this more tolerable as well.

At least the swelling in the right side of my face has gone down, I can hear from my ear again and the pain is significantly less than before, though that's like saying the stabbing is now a flesh wound rather than a full stab.

Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in soon and I'll be able to go on with my life.
