YEAHHHHHH...im off my pain medication.
For those of you that dont know (and thats all of you
) i was involved in a car accident over the new year period.
I didnt mention this in my journal, cause mainly there was nothing anyone else could do about it and i didnt want to make it sound like i was fishing for sympathy.
No-one was badly hurt, but i was on the pills. So no drinking for me.
But now im off them.....so a glass of red wine
And as im re-reading his works at the moment. Here is a little of T.S.Eliots The Wasteland
"You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
"They called me the hyacinth girl."
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.

The Waste Land also contains one of my fav writen lines
"i will show you fear in a handfull of dust"
