Two things to mention to start off my post-holiday week:

First, about a month ago I got a new neighbor that is a real creep. He moved in to an expensive apartment by himself with no furniture, barely any clothes, no nic-nacs, and no one to help him move (ie. no friends). He actually paid our landlord to help him get his mattress and couple boxes of clothes inside. His mother passed away a couple years ago and he's sueing his family for her inheritance. The first lawyer he went to refused his case. In his own words, he HATES his whole family. He also HATES his former roommates, HATES his former landlord, and HATES his former everything. Everyone is out to get him... When I'm outside gardening he hovers over me and just stares. Last night he was outside on his cell phone late, pissing off all the neighbors with a brutal (and loud) conversation. "Fuck her... Fuck that... their Fucking evil... Fuck them alll... etc., etc." He woke some folks up and was a menace. he wouldn't leave even when asked. He also blurted racial slurs...
I feel really uncomfortable living right next to him.

Second, I went into work today and very unexpectedly got fired. They gave me a four week notice. I definately don't love where I work and was only planning on staying until the end of the year, but I'm not ready to go through all the job-hunt drama right now.

So SHIT!!!!

And that, folks, is the start of my lovely post-holiday week...

I need a new job and a new apartment.
At least I got my kitties.
