Last night I had an absolutely lovely time with Mr. Corneilus_Wright. First, we went to this groovy sushi place in my hood. The first time I went there (when they opened a few years ago) I was not impressed, but they really seem to have got their shit together. This was Mr. Wright's first sushi experience. I was very pleased by the quality, so I felt they did him good. We dined on soups, sashimi, makis, 'designer' makis, and other Japanese delicacies, including coffee mochi (yum). In the perfect Autumn weather, we strolled to lil' coffee shop, to pick up an after dinner beverage, then went back to my place to watch a couple movies. I got to finally see Momento....excellent. And then we saw PCU and Boondock Saints. Overall, a rather delightful evening.

Ohohoh!!!!! I just went out to my garden!!!!!
It's so fantastic... an overgrowth of autumn colors, autumn flowers, the leaves are changing color on the blackberry bush, there's still a few remaining peppers and tomatoes, and the beets are still swelling with beet-y goodness. Right now I'm eating some spicy chili ...hottt!

This has been an excellent weekend for thrift shopping. I got a large knit hat, a hoodie, 2 scarves, 2 belts, a shirt, and a smoking hottt orange pleather jacket... The jacket rules!!! I can't wait to wear it to Q's 2nite. Hooray!
