They inserted a feeding tube in my niece for now , and say it is just a bad virus , probably from my 6 year old nephew , I think it is from not properly sterilizing the finger feeder they use to supplement my sisters breast feeding . Plus the childrens hospital wants to run up a $50,000 bill for the week 
The good weather didn't hold out here , we had rainstorms while I was over in Long Island for my buddies beach party , ended up waiting till 3AM to make the trip home across the sound without being pelted by rain . The computer shows thunderstorms for today , so I think a trip to the movies is in order

Hi. It's Friday. Looking forward to the Holiday weekend. Looking forward to Saturday, come 6:30PM CST, I will finally be off of work until Tuesday. Phew! Today is my dad's birthday. What do you get a 61 year-old Catholic man for his birthday? A box of denial?

Happy Friday! It's sunny and gorgeous and I have a clear view of the pools 
! It's filling up fast!
The hotel's alarm went off this morning at 6:30am and every minute the annoying voice loudly alerted us that "This is the Hotel's emergency alarm. We will keep you posted as we learn the details of the situation."
Then it switched to "We would like to inform you that this was a false alarm. Please disregard this alarm." And this every minute.
Oh well, "it puts the lotion on its back" or I'll get burned is the phrase for the next 2 days!

TGIF Tonight I'm begining the initial planning phases of a girls weekend in Vegas set for August... woo-hoo! Vegas, Baby! 
So, I guess it's time to start doing my sit-ups (eek!) so I'll be in prime shape for the big weekend. Watch out!

Just finished dinner and I'm completely exhausted. The past 2 days have been extremely mentally draining!
I did the walk through on my place and everything is in excellent condition They just have to clean the stove and replace a screen. I'm going to have a washer and dryer installed eventually so keep your eye out for good deals! The couple found a place to live so I called the Landings and they are going to end my lease July 25th. I'm closing on July 15th. So, not too far away.
I miss you already!

I couldn't find the site and don't remember it, spore something or other dot com, and I think they were based out of Utah maybe. I didn't have any problems at all, just had to sign a paper saying I was only using the spores for microscopic research. Which I was... yep.

It was my first garden , I layed out the mesh ground cloth so I wouldn't have to do much weeding , and half of the space was taken up by the watermellons anyway Next year I'll build a short wood fence to keep the animals from being able to climb over and have a feeding frenzy again , the chain link fence was like a ladder for them

Old houses are money pits , there is problems with lead paint , outdated electrical , plumbing , and HVAC systems that had to be replaced , I had to replace 37 old drafty lead contaminated windows with modern dual pane windows . I have to have my six chimmenys relined , my oil company just called me and told me they wont warranty my oil tank but when everything is finished I will have my own little slice of heaven There is one crappy pic in my pics folder , and I will be adding more soon
