I've recently decided to go back to school and get another level of formal art training on top of what I've been working with for the last ten years. This semester my biggest assignment has been a Visual Obsession sketchbook. In it, I am supposed to choose one subject matter and draw it over and over, in different styles and mediums, at least 50 drawings. My obsession started out as people, but quickly evolved to Suicide Girls. Because as I realized, bodies with tattoos and piercings are just more interesting to draw and to look at!
So here's my Visual Obsession blog, where I will be posting all my sketches. Some will be super successful, some less so, but its all part of the process. At the end of this semester I will be making prints of my favorites and will have them for sale. If your picture is one of the ones I chose to make prints of, I will give you a free print!
I am open to suggestions, if you want to be drawn, let me know. And I am available for commissions as well, if you are interested.
