(This is why I refuse to date another girl who says she'll only date black guys, because she's usually "into black guys" for some really stupid reason.)

Glad to hear things are working out. Communication is a good thing, just have to be careful to avoid that pesky dendency to miscommunicate with some people. It can get messy, it just takes practice.
