dear friends,

i love you all a lot. you all have different qualities i love about you. its funny cuz, at one point, i just wanted to see what it would be like to go missing for a bit, but in all of that thinking, it turns out, a bit isn't long enough and, i...well, nevermind.

its cold here, and lonely. and im tired of being a badass. and the strong one. and the funny one. and the *cute*(and by cute you mean in a little sister sort of way) one. its tiring.

and i know you all care a lot. but we've drifted lately, all of us. we work, and have school, and many of you have loves to tend to, and i understand that. i never took it too personally.


i miss people too much. i long for people too much. all these un-real people. or, barely-real. mike and kelly and logan and brian and jess and jud and daniel and suz and tad and lyndsey and clintt and jenn and all of you people who've made life a little more real, painful and beautiful.


our children are not our children, but the sons and daughters of life's longing for itself.
