Edit: Got to meet Mark Danielewski (House of Leaves, Only Revolutions) last night in Cambridge. Now have my own, autographed copy of HOL. Kick ass. In a few months I may have time to read for enjoyment again at which time I will fucking enjoy the shit out of that book.

Went to see Turbonegro with Poppy a few nights back - it was awesome. Highlights included a guitar solo played from atop the crowd (see pics) and an impromptu 'Shroud of Turin' (do not see pics).



Afterward we met up with Maryann and closed the Silhouette down. I taught college for the third time the next morning at 8am. I'm an adult.

I think I'll be going to see that Naglfar/Dark Funeral tour in Worcester, as well.

In other news, my good friend Scott just moved over here from PDX! It is a true loss the west coast has suffered by not holding on to this fine fellow.

In still other news, I just booked a flight back to Spokane for Christmas and my birthday and will be spending new year's, and a day or two on either side, in Oakland! Kick ass!

Also, I don't mean to mention this in a flippant way or sound like a tea-totaller, but heroin will kill you. No seriously.
