Okay...Portland was great...I really like it there. Got to see a bunch of friends (including a surprising number from Spokane who just happened to be in town) and a few good shows. Superbad is one of the best grind bands I've seen in a long time (ex Skin Culture and Fall of the Bastards among others for those who care) and Wormwood was great to see again. Unfortunately, I did not get to see I Am The Thorn as my homeboy Joe got arrested the day before they were supposed to play. Suck. Okay, I really like it here in Boston, but I have to say that Portland is hipper and in general, more attractive. It probably didn't help that it was the first few days of Spring over there, the weather was nice, people dressed like it, it was hormonal pandemonium. Anyway, I'm taking a break from painting to post this so I better get back to it...here's the new work:
