I just made a 911 call to report a dead body on my way home from the Hirax show. I was walking and just stumbled upon this guy who was lying in a very unnatural position. I yelled at him and kicked his foot a couple times and was met with no response. So yeah, I called 911. About 20 minutes later cops and firemen and EMTs showed up and apparently the guy wasn't dead, but they did put him on a stretcher and take him away. I feel kind of dirty about calling the police, I hope I didn't just get some random dude a big as hospital bill for no reason or some bullshit charge if he had weed on him or something...but I'm pretty sure he was fucked up in a bad way. It made me think about all of my other dealings with police in the past. The highlights include being dropped off in the middle of nowhere around LA in 103 degree heat, having my hair pulled, being mistaken for the aggressor in a domestic violence call, narrowly avoiding an arrest warrant at my parent's house and of course, being arrested. Also, let's not forget being thrown out of multiple parties, getting scolded for smoking in junior high and the time my mom called the police and I had to give a statement about getting jumped the morning after. Anyway, yeah, I have never called the cops before and now I feel weird about having done so. Okay, actually, it freaked me the fuck out. I brushed my teeth so frantically when I got home that I pulled out and stuck it in my nose. Like changing lanes without signalling. I love that saying.


Also, why would you give me your number if you were seeing someone? Irritating.

Also, it feels really nice to get winked at by a stranger.

Also, good work voting to all those of you who did. Donald Rumsfeld can eat dicks and we now have a Socialist senator. Of course, it will still take generations to fix what's happened to our country over the past few years and some things, undoubtedly, will never really be repaired. However, it is nice to see some possible turning of the tide. I'd also heard that the suspension of Habias Corpus did not go through but haven't had it substantiated- anyone?

Update to the update: I got hit by a car while riding my bike to school today. It happened just outside the MFA. I'm beat up but alright, my bike isn't quite as lucky, but it should pull through. The guy was very concerned and nice and gave me a ride the rest of the way to school. Hopefully his insurance takes care of the repairs. Crazy shit.
