I was waiting for a bus today and exchanged knowing glances with a small child while listening to Hammers of Misfortune. For a couple minutes I seriously considered being a children's advocate or teacher or something related, all the while thinking what a strange turn of events that would be. I once had a close friend tell me I'd be a terrible father and was really offended. Then I thought, "Naaaaah."
