I wanted to update as my last entry is totally irrelevant now. Useless infact... But what to say?
Things I have been doing recently:
_Looking into insurance for my music collection. I cant even begin to imagine my reaction if I lost it all - some of this stuff is totally irreplaceable....
_Backing up all my CD's on my computer... I even bought a new HDD for the effort.
_Wondering why I have become so paranoid about losing stuff all of a sudden
_Making some new music.... I made a Hip-Hop beat for scroobiuspip which (considering it was the first track I ever made in that style) is pretty, erm... pretty. He is using it on the soon-to-be-recorded album/EP/thing. I'm also playing drums on the entire recording which I'm really looking forward too. Its been too long since I did any studio work. Anyway, the tracks I have been working on are kind of ambient/electro insanity, most of them very short. But I like the idea of putting a CD out with 50 or 60 untitled tracks...
_I have been cutting new stencils like a motherfucker! I'm eager to look into other ways of making them though... But the card seems to work for me - and thanks to the card frame method they dont ever stick to anything. Ever. Now I just need to get out and use them, Its been far too long (hasn't it, scroobiuspip?) Oh, and lilac, stop talking about making some and FUCKING MAKE SOME!
_I'm starting to learn piano soon. An ex-girlfriend is teaching me (but thats fine... She is uber cool and has the best taste in music I have ever known... I cant even remember why we split up...).
_Going to see Why? on monday night. The man is a genius, I cant wait. Here is a photo I took of him last time he was in London:
