so i went up to mt. high yesterday since i have only gone snowboarding one other time this year while im used to going 20-30...living in california sucks. i just dont get motivated to go up, when i wake up and its warm out i dont realize that there IS snow let alone enough to have a good time on. not having anyfriends here to go up with doesnt help either...
i got my engine block back from the machine shop this week, and realized that with the engine work($250), new crank($150), new heads($125) new carb(havent bought yet but lets say $200) master kit($300), replcing the lost oil pan($75)...not including the center steering link required to switch from /6 to V8, engine mounts that were bought for a different project of my brothers, and 2 year only exhaust manifolds(IF im not up to making my own headers) oh and posibly having to change from power to manual steering because the box is in the way...thats $1100...thats not including paint, most of an interior, and LOTS of trim....alot of work going into a 66 dart that i paid $400 for, but maybe it will be cool when im done.
