I reposted this bulletin on myspace and got a few good answers that took me back.
How they met me....
After looking at some of these responses I took a trip down memory lane, ahhhhhh...... It's interesting how first impressions can last. Most people I meet I can't remember their name in 2 minutes but there has been a few people that I've met that I instantly know that I will know them for the rest of my life. That's not always a good thing. Mikel K really met me at work but he's allowed a little writers embelishment.
MIKEL K POET--IN A CROSS FIRE HURRICANE...
JENWEN- I don't remember the first time. I'm sure that the heavens opened, the angels wept, and the sky was filled with rainbows and cherubs. Probably with Eric, probably while drinking. It's all just a blur...
JEN - The first time I remember meeting Dave is in Minneapolis in 88 while I was on a road trip with a couple friends. We had just driven into the city and stopped a punk rocker walking along and he took us over to Daves house. I remember he had a room full of home made weapons, one was a big stick with barbed wire on it. LOL Not that he's a trouble maker or anything!
Elliott- I was doing acid in a renovated gas station and this lizard looking skinny geek with a ugly denim jacket and a mohawk (..I know ,huh?) Dave walks up to me & sez "Do you mind if I give you shit?"
I said "not at all."
Travis - Met Danger Dave while looking for other bald miniature gamers online. Drove to his place with a truckful of minis and it was war at first site, hahaha!

I may live in a small town, but I'm not a small town person at heart
