Ok, so I'm not the best at updating. Things have been sporadic at best, and sometimes I just want to be lazy and waste away playing Neverwinter Nights. I can say that I'm sick of having no idea how I'm getting back to the states. I mean, one minute I'm leaving from one country, the next I'm leaving with the rest of the unit, only to have it changed again and to be told that they don't know what is going on with me. I might leave at this time, I might be leaving on another date, I just have to stay ready. UGH!!! Oh well, at least I know I am going home sometime before Feb., well, I think so at least.
So, today, I decided to hit the snooze alarm, someone up high must not have liked it because at 0708 hrs, a rocket hit's right beside my barracks, and another outside the base, and another right where my tank used to park behind our Operations center where I used to work, and yet another in my Battalion's wheeled vehicle motorpool. I'm glad I wasn't at the tank today because we need to inventory the tools and such, that could've been disastrous as it would've exploded about 15ft. from where I would have been conducting the inventory. Good things plans change, because I should've been there this morning. But, I've cheated death before, lol, if you can call it that. I just wonder how many times I'm gonna have close calls, both with the military and when I was a civilian, before the Reaper gets sick of losing and comes to cash in. Maybe I'm blessed, I dunno.
Also, it was Spookies birthday on the 11th, and I tried to call her, but later on that day we went into a commo blackout, so I couldn't get ahold of her. I want to call my boy and wifey so bad, but the God of Phone Lines and Roadside Bombs wants to make things difficult
Well, enough ranting and raving. I'll try to update more. I'm sure most everyone has forgotten about me.
