It's morning and rainy. I can tell about the rain because even though the curtains are closed, I can hear the "swissssh swisssssh' of cars driving by outside. It's one of my favorite sounds.

I don't really have anything to get out of bed for until around 1 p.m., when I have to drive to the train station to pick up someone for John John.

Malady is curled into a giant circle of cat at the foot of the bed.

I might pick up some more part-time work helping this fellow, who is a friend of John John's I met at the art opening on Thursday. It's odd. Just a month ago I was quitting one of my main sources of income and planning on doing lots of web camming to make up for it. But almost immediately, more work came along.

Someone pointed out one with a bit of interest that, when I want something badly and think about it a lot, I often end up getting it. I hadn't realized that, but, looking back, she was sort of right.



I've also just realized that I never really blogged about my trip to West Virginia back in October. Here's a photo of me at a place that had, like, the biggest telescope ever or something. More later.
