From time to time Thom and I get these soul-squishingly adorable mice in our trashcan. We'll hear the bag rustling around and be like, "What the heck is that?" and then remember that it's probably a eensy leedle mouse. My camera is broken but this is how they look, but with buggier eyes.



And then I'll take the can outside and let them go after raving about the cuteness. The first time Thom was all like, "Dump him out in the snow." But secretly I dumped him out next to the house so he could sneak back in and be warm. Ha, take that, mouse-hater. Anyway I just let one go but I put out some papaya rinds too.
