I've gotten quite a lot of emails and comments and such asking about the tattoo on my shoulder, so here: I will tell you!

The tattoo is a combination of two illustrations from the trilogy Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, which is a collection of folk tales compiled by Alvin Schwartz and illustrated by Stephen Gammell. The screaming girl is from the story "The Girl who Stood on a Grave," and the church... er, I forget which story the church is from. I believe it's in the second book.
