I'm finding myself in my own head so much that on those rare moments when I step back it's a shock: that I am *here*, there are things around me. Thom is lying in bed reading Bridge to Terabithia. There are coats and books and an antique sewing table from the garment district. Mugs my mother made; hats and baskets and tree branches and a ceiling. I'm always caught unawares. I can't tell where I should be- here or there?

You are amazing. The time I spent with you was too, too short. I love that you took notes at the convention, I love your hair. Either you need to come to Chicago (my couch is comfy) or I need to save up money to come back to Philly, because we need to hang out.
