Yar, I just saw Pirates of the Carribean and loved laughing at its outright silliness and awesome-adventure-ness. Hoo, so much fun! The theater was packed with kids, all these skinny high school kids that made me feel like I was a million years old. Everyone was dressed like pirates. Pirates are awesome and even if they're now enjoying a newfound sort of widespread popularity, I'm glad because at least everybody looks cool.

Things have been very up and down lately. Some days seem alright and I can laugh in the shower or at Malady when he does something stupid. Other days the floor is covered with dirty laundry and it's raining always. And sometimes the sun shines through.



I've been trying to eat betterlots of home-cooked simple meals with whole grain pasta or soba and lots of vegetables. Drinking water, I'm surprised, is so much more important than I thought. I can drink glass after glass and the effects are always goodmy skin is clearer and I'm losing weight.

I think sometimes that these little tiny things are the most important. They're really great big deals in disguise. Water. Grain. Breathing in and out.
