Channel 3, 45 Grave, D.I., Circle Jerks, Adolescents.

After the stress of the week, and losing a friend, I had to take myself off the clock for this one, because I just needed to enjoy a show.

I still helped schlep things to the stage, etc, but I couldn't handle being in charge of entries, etc. I really think things are starting to hit me now.

Channel 3: I was never a fan, but they played a really good set.

45 Grave: I don't know what to say. They sounded OK, not my style.

D.I.: The whole reason I had even agreed to work this show. Dear god, D.I. is still great, and they're funny as hell.

Circle Jerks: Better than last time I saw them, but that guy talks too fucking much.

Adolescents: Holy fuck. Last time I saw them they were amazing. Last night was no exception. What I love is this:
It's not all original members. Both guitars are replacements, BUT the replacements are direct desendants of band members. In fact, one of the guitars is the son of the original guitarist... 15 years old and incredible already, that kid's got a future in music.

The show was truly worth $40, because all of the bands were headlining bands, and I would have paid if I had to.
