so today was my first day back to school! well technically it was yesterday but it was a night class so today was my first full day back! I'm actually super excited about some of my classes. my first class is at 8, which is awful considering I have to leave my house for about 5:45 to get there on time. and my last class ends at 3:30, so I have a full day of classes. my first class is mortuary anatomy II, which should be fun. It seems like we go over the systems a little more than in anatomy I. my next class is the psychosocial aspects of grief, dying, and bereavement. which sounds really interesting! I'm sure it helps greatly when you are meeting with families to plan their loved ones funeral. I know it'll really help me because I haven't found that balance between completely detached and too attached. my next class is restorative art and science, which I think will be my favorite! basically this class is to help with restoring the body for viewing and of course dressing and cosmetics for the body. our big project for this class is making a face out of wax on this plastic skull!

my final class is law for funeral business, which is my least favorite. I've never been into law or politics so it's super hard for me to pay attention in that class. all I hear is the Charlie Brown teacher voice "womp womp" haha I got through the first law class with a B, so there's hope!
I basically am in love with my major if you haven't noticed haha the more I get into the classes the more I love it. I really am not made to do any other career but this one!
