I have started and stopped this blog over and over and I'm not really sure why. resolutions should be pretty fun to make, ideas and goals for the coming year. to me, it's very intimidating and scary to think about small goals for the coming year. sure I have things I'd like to accomplish but for some reason I'm so terrified of disappointing myself. it sounds silly now that I'm typing it out but it's truly how I feel. but here's my list of things that I'd like to do at some point in the near future haha
1.) get into some kind of healthy habit. whether it is working out more or eating better, one of those need to happen. Being a funeral director, I pick up a lot of dead bodies that have a lot of....well dead weight! total pun intended! haha so I need a lot of upper body strength to lift them from a hospital bed or a the floor onto a cot. I know for some people that is really morbid but it's my job and I love it. so I really need to start lifting weights more.
2.) gain control over my anxiety/depression again. it's been a very long time since I've struggled with them but I've had some major changes in my life and they have gained control of my life again. I know I'm capable of getting under control because I've done it already. the problem is actually doing it. I'm taking it a day at a time because if I try to think of anything more, I get so overwhelmed. I know I can do it, and I know I will. mental health is a major priority this year.
3.) be a lot more active on this site! I'm still really new and I'm finding my way around and making some new friends. I'm really excited about the friendships that are just starting and I really can't wait to see what is yet to be. with my debut set hitting member review soon, I'm getting so nervous and excited about what's to come! will you love it or will you not care for it? I know it may not be perfect so I can't wait to get tips on how I can become better. only way to go is forward!! (:
one great thing about this year, my debut set will hit member review in about 2 weeks! like what!??!!! so insane to think about! I really hope you all love it! I can not wait to shoot another set, hopefully I can have another set for yall soon 😘 here is another small preview
Along with celebrating the new year, my girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 1/2 year anniversary! This is officially the longest relationship I have ever been in! I've never been happier with anyone in my entire life. she has such a beautiful soul.
Hope you all enjoyed the holidays! Thank you @missy @lyxzen and @rambo for the blog homework! I start school this coming week (soooo lame!!!) but after this semester I will only have one year left so I could use some good vibes to get me through this coming semester!
