I was wrapping my Hopeful Secret Santa gift and I was thinking about this homework that @lyxzen @rambo and @missy assigned for us this week. Before I go into what presents would be perfect for me, I am really hoping my secret Santa loves her gift! @myzaree did a great job putting all of this together and sending us a list of our secret Santa's interests and I did a little profile stalking of my own. Which brings me to my list
1. anything homemade! I personally love making gifts for friends and family. It is something so individual and special. Sometimes the best gifts don't come from a store. I like home made gifts because they come from the heart! I always get nervous gifting a home made present because I know some people may not like it and my creative skills are not that great.
2. pretty much anything. I am a very grateful person and I try not to be too demanding when it comes to asking for things. If it honestly came down to it, I would prefer not to receive any gifts. Plus I like almost everything! Im a major fan of Doctor Who so you can really never go wrong with any DW things. I also really like anything that is macabre and weird! I like strange things, and I also like things that are a little bit girly. I like clothes and I like nik naks. I love snacks and food! I also really like small things! I also really like tiny boxes that you have no idea what you could possibly put in it. I really like crafts too! i probably sound like Buddy the elf the way I keep going on about the things I like hahaha
but I would have to say one of the main things I want this Christmas is my very own Tea Infuser! I love tea a lot and I have been wanting to make my very own from loose tea. I have seen a lot of really cute tea infusers out there, one caught my eye the other day on facebook, which to be honest may have been a fake article with the way Facebook works haha. But it was a tea bag that looks like a goldfish!! how cute is that?? a goldfish floating around in your tea cup!
Anyways, i will be mailing my Secret Santa gift Monday morning! I really hope she likes it (: (:
I haven't been in a very "christmas" mood this year. I feel like a bit of a scrooge and I don't mean to be. My anxiety/depression have been bad still so I have been struggling this winter. On the bright side it has been a lovely 70 degrees, which I love because I hate being cold! I have finals next week which explains why I haven't been too active on here and every other social network of mine. I feel like I haven't had much time to myself or for my girlfriend. We finally got a morning together this morning. We were just sitting on the sofa enjoying each other's company this morning and as she was getting up to get dressed for work I found myself bursting into tears from so much emotion. It wasn't just because she was leaving for work, it was a combination of things. One being the overwhelming fear of another change for the spring semester. I am taking 17 hours next semester, sounds like a lot but in reality it isn't too bad considering the classes. However, one of those classes is a night class on Wednesdays. That will be a hard class to get used to. Any type of change overwhelms me. Once finals are over, I plan on enjoying my time home, no matter what!! Can not wait for Winter Break!!
