The title of a SPIN's magazine article grab my attention, it says: "Miley Cyrus Masturbates for Attention in 'Adore You' Video". So what? We've seen many artist do so, from Madonna to Michael Jackson. Back in the 90's there was even a song named "I touch myself", so call me a bitter ol'man but to me there's nothing really impressive or "rebel" about it...
