Ok i guess it's time for a nice big journal entry to fill everyone who cares in on my last few weeks...
Well as some of you know i spent my holiday's in California... Santa Barbara to be exact just bumming around and enjoying the non-snowey weather...
Most of the time i just kinda relaxed and enjoyed not having to work on anything that required stress... aka getting the company going... and i did catch up on some good (meet the fockers and national treasure) and not so good (oceans 12) movies...
Also got to go on a historical and sight seeing adventure with my uncle... saw so many beautiful areas (i would put up some pictures but i have to resize all of them since the camera i used made them huge files...)
Spent one of my days skating at a beach side skate park which was awesome... michigan just doesn't have out door skate parks like california...
Nothing crazy special but it was a much needed rest...
Now on to the recent fun
NEW YEARS Y2K + 5
First of all let me thank everyone for coming up to the cabin for New Years... you all made this year one of the best so far... and don't worry there will be more to come
Hmm I guess the best way to describe my new years is to talk about each person that made it special... (in order of apperance)
mariothemonkey made the drive up from Ohio in record time and without any speeding tickets... he came computer in hand and ready to kick some ass at DDR... i tried playing him once... and that was all i needed to know that there was no chance wining against him... thanX again for making it up and you get the award for the Most DDedicated SG member to Drive a Huge Ass Distance...
Oninotaki made the time fly by and entertained us all with he interesting therories... his fear of the locals... and his DS (i'm totally inviting him to everything to use him for it ) ThanX for coming it was great to see you again... and i'm sure i'll see you again soon...
Affinity even though i just met her less than a month ago she has quickly become one of the nicest people in my book... she's picked up Oni to get him to the cabin without really even knowing him (except for at luna) she was always ready to help with things (even though we had a little firewood debocle...opps) thanX again for helping and coming...
pebbles not knowing anyone came up to the cabin for her first and hopefully not last event... a great new addition to our group... i just hope we didn't scare her off... thanX for coming and see you again soon...
Sorcha as always was ready to help with everything and was also ready to party... she even drove a half hour away to get us all chinese food ThanX for everything and i'll see you at your birthday party in a few days
SYH once again proves he is the king of the road... i never knew that one man could have been pulled over so many times for bunk reasons and have the balls to tell the cops and judges that they are wrong... and still get a ticket... dang... ThanX for fixing the number and thanX for everything else...
Panzermensch last but not least kept us all laughing with his constant battle with goblins, elves and other final fantasy creatures but with a little help from Oni (ok alot of help) He also apparently can yell louder than anyone i know... damn that kid has some lungs... ThanX again from coming for your second tour at the cabin...
The only other notable thing from the weekend would have to be the firewood situation... everyone here missed the ending... the guy was over an hour late... i didn't leave the cabin until around 5:30
and when it got there i then realized how much 3 cords of wood is... we now have a 4 foor high and 10 foot in diameter pile of wood sitting on our lawn... shit...
All in all a great weekend... i hope you all had fun and if you weren't able to make it this time don't worry this won't be the last time we will all be up there...
P.S. There is no proof that i was ever wearing that hat... well except for the pictures... dang...
