outdoor concerts / music festivals, fly fishing without waders, drinking icy cocktails

being a sweat blob, especially if the heat is humid! my hometown being all jammed up with ignorant tourists

just got back from Porto! so much love for Portugal. wish I could've stayed longer and toured Basque country too

short & sweet summer love has always been a fun fling
#5 Favorite 3 summer drinks to stay hydrated?
so much water, especially with some mint, lime, ginger. painkillers for that island flavor! and lots of tea, iced or otherwise

hometown defaults to #1, but best times this year were on Lumahai beach on Kauai -- famed filming site of _South Pacific_

long trip to the high mountains (where it's nice and cool!)

a chemist by trade, contemplating that mid-life career change over into the chef/cooking game

learning to fly fish the surf, ooh and get qualified to ref american football games come fall

beets! along with cucumbers and dill in delicious cold borscht

love my onion-steamed slider style burgers; though the veggie substitute impossible patties from Fatburger are lovely

solo bushwhacking adventure around the north shore of Kauai
